The Council’s Rights of Way team have had contractors in the Valley to clear the gullies at the side of the bridleway – hopefully, this will help reduce the muddy patches on the bridleway after wet weather. It’s a work in progress and a bit messy in places but nature will soon take care of that. During their work they have uncovered another pillbox from WWll – that’s now six that we know of in the valley.
