Scouts versus Bracken

Over 30 scouts and cubs from the Sketty Group did a great job of trampling the bracken in Kate’s Orchard recently. Trampling bracken helps to increase biodiversity and use the wonderful resource of Clyne Valley for their nature and local historian badges. It’s not the easiest of tasks but they undertook this with so much enthusiasm and energy. It was a pleasure to work with them and we look forward to possible joint projects in the future.
