Jubilee Wood

Last week the volunteers: Rob, Alun, Colin, Stuart, Barbara, Nigel, Jayne and Enid were in action at the Jubilee Wood. They dug up some old roots and pruned a few of the trees that were sprouting extra stems and made a start on creating a way in. After a lot of hard work, over a period of a few years, this area is now manageable and we look forward to developing it even further into a quiet, contemplative place to enjoy the sounds of nature.

Note the new information board that is situated at the entrance to the wood.
