Day 2 Volunteering with Gowerton School

A wet, miserable day did not deter a group of Year 10 pupils from Gowerton School taking part in a litter pick around the Dunvant Brickworks area. This was combined with a bit of a History lesson from Mr Jones! Five bags of litter were collected and in the process they saw the Old Dunvant Railway Station, two second world war pill boxes, the brickworks lake, the ‘bat cave’, the old brickworks and the old railway line. What a great group to work with. Many thanks to those pupils and the members of staff.
