Brush cutting – part 2

Today we tackled the old racecourse area. This area was also used as a Council landfill site in the 1980s. Since then Nature has reclaimed much of the land – however there is evidence of rubbish poking through – as you can see from some of the photos!

During today’s session, three new brush cutters were trained up – great to have Jane, Alan and Stuart on board. Thanks also go to Mark, Colin, Rob, Sue, Nigel, Jayne for their efforts. Also to Stephen for helping to remove the tree that had recently fallen blocking one of the paths.
