Great evening yesterday with 32nd Swansea Scouts working towards their Environmental conservation badges. They learned about the value of native plants at home or in the wild, and planted up our boxes in Ynys Newydd. They trampled the bracken in Kate’s Orchard to allow flora to thrive and make space for reptiles and earth boring creatures (look out for tiny round holes in the path). They learned about a range of habitats in Clyne Valley and how they can support wildlife corridors by action at home and Scout HQ. Fantastic effort all round.
