You may well be aware that for some time the ruins of New Mill Farm have been fenced off for safety reasons.
Contractors will be starting work at New Mill Farm on the 6th February.
This will just be the initial work – once the site is cleared of vegetation, consideration will be given as to the best way to stabilise the buildings.
It is hoped that in the long term the farm area will be an area to tell the story of the valley, keeping a sense of place, and making the farm a location where people can stop at as they walk in the valley.
