River Path West – Adit Steps

What began as a plan to build about 5 steps on the left side of the adit, has turned into a far bigger project. The positives are that many of our volunteers are now very familiar in installing steps and, of course, it makes this area far more accessible than before – particularly when descending.

The steps are not quite finished but if you are interested in walking in that area please check out the walk below which can be found on the website.

There are too many people to thank individually but the Access Team as a whole have put in so much work over the past months to make this happen. Thank you one and all.

Below is a photo of how the slope looked like before the work started, half way through the project and the featured image is of our newest member of the Access Team Nigel, installing his first step. Great work!
