Rhododendron Treatment in Kate’s Orchard

Last week, during the last volunteering session of the year, Enid and Barbara joined Kathryn Thomas from Swansea Council to treat rhododendron in Kate’s Orchard. If left uncontrolled, rhododendron can take over and exclude other plant life. It has a strong root system and its leaf litter is toxic to many other plants.
