On Thursday, February 3rd members were fascinated by a presentation given by Richard Daugherty about the ‘Lost Lanes and Byways of Gower’ held at Dunvant Social Centre.
Then Thursday, March 3rd members were offered a presentation by Brian Davies titled ‘Mumbles and Gower Pubs’ which was based on Brian’s book of the same name. There is a pub at either end of Clyne Valley – the Railway Inn and the Woodman. Brian took us on a virtual journey from one all the way round Gower back to the other with many interesting stories of the pubs en route.
