Mountain Bike Trails in Clyne Valley.

There are several hazardous trees near to or across the MTB trails. These have been assessed from the ground by a bat ecologist. Those that couldn’t be adequately assessed from the ground require an aerial inspection (climbed). The climbing team conducting the aerial inspection will be out on site on Thursday 8thAugust (all being OK with the weather, obviously strong winds will require the work to be postponed). The hope is to complete all of these in one day, but if not, then the team will need to go out again on 15th August.

The MTB trails should not be used on 8th August please.

To keep the surveyors and site users safe temporary barriers and advance warning signage will be put up around the active work area while work is completed.

The Council appreciate that the work causes an inconvenience for those using the site. But the work is to keep users of the trails safe and to help protect the newly refurbished trails from damage from falling trees once the works are complete.
