This morning, a section of overgrown path was cleared by two of our volunteers. Many thanks to Rob and Nigel for this great result.

If you’re not sure where this is – at the bottom of the steps at Rhyd y Defaid 2 (the capped mine) turn sharp left and head up above the canal. This path runs parallel with the canal for a short distance. Follow it until you reach the purple post and the stepping stones will be on your right hand side. Two steps have also been put in to make the path more accessible.

Before this land was used for landfill, the old path would have joined up with the new SUP and continued to Blackpill.
