Brush cutting

It’s mid June so it’s brush cutting time again. This is done to try and reduce some of the vegetation – particularly brambles, that can block the lesser known paths, but are often used by dog walkers.

This week it was around the Blackberry Path – off the Shared User Path on the old bridleway from Ynys Newydd towards Killay. As you can see, we do not cut back much of the vegetation but try to balance out the needs of users and wildlife.

Thanks go to: Colin, Rob, Alan, Stephen, Mike, Mark, Nigel, Jayne and Sue (who managed to juggle a camera and shears!)
