A Tree-popping Saturday!

Ben Sampson, Biodiversity Officer at Swansea University, brought along his ‘tree poppers’ on a sunny Saturday. He trained a group of  CVCP volunteers and we were able to remove some saplings of Holm Oak and Rhododendron Ponticum, which spread vigorously if not controlled. A tree popper is a great tool for gentle removal, with minimal disturbance to surrounding ground flora. Thanks for your help, Ben!
