There are five main car parks. Most have maps for information but these are not to scale:

1) Blackpill Car Park, Blackpill.

This pay and display is the most accessible as it is just off the Mumbles Road. From this most southerly end you can walk or cycle northwards towards Killay and Dunvant or head to more remote parts of the Valley.

2) Ynys Newydd Car Park, Derwen Fawr.

A small free car park also at the south end of The Valley situated near the Recycling Centre.

3) Mill Lane Car Park, Blackpill.

A small free car park situated at the top of Mill Lane, (narrow access). This will take you to the westerly part of The Valley in a higher location away from the cycle path.

4) The Railway Inn Car Park, Killay.

A small free car park located near the middle of The Valley. From here you can walk northwards to Dunvant (approximately one mile) or southwards towards Blackpill (approximately two miles). The pub does not serve food at the moment.

5) Dunvant Green Car Park, Dunvant.

A small free car park situated just off the green in Dunvant on the bend at Garrod Avenue.

Bus routes to Blackpill

• 14 – Swansea – Pennard via Blackpill, Bishopston
• 2C – Swansea – Caswell Bay
• 2 – Swansea – Newton via Oystermouth
• 2B – Swansea – Limeslade

From Mumbles Road bus stop, opposite the Post Office, Blackpill. Walk across the road at the traffic lights to the Woodman Inn. Turn right and walk approximately 100 metres. Clyne Country Park is on your left. If coming from Mumbles, you don’t cross the road.

Bus routes to Killay

• 118 – Swansea – Rhossili via Killay
• 119 – Swansea – Rhossili via Killay
• 116 – Swansea – Llanrhidian

The following will involve walking approximately 400 metres from Killay Square down the hill to the Railway Inn.

• 22 – Swansea – Three Crosses via Killay,
• 20A – Swansea – Hendrefoilan Woods via Killay
• 20 – Swansea – Derlwyn via Killay
• 116 – Swansea – Llanrhidian

Bus Routes to Dunvant

• 116 – Swansea – Llanrhidian

From the bus stop, cross the road. Continue across the green past the playground to the car park.

• 21A / 22 – Swansea – Three Crosses via Killay, Dunvant

From Killan Road Club walk down the hill, turn left continue across the green past the playground to the car park.
