Plan for the day is to meet at 9am to cut and collect bramble on the meadow. Once this is done, we will:
- Clear some paths in the area
- Cut and treat Rhododendron or Cherry Laurel
- Dig up Pheasant Berry (Leycesteria formosa) which is spreading through Clyne now
- Dig or extend some small scrapes in the area
Staff will be there from 9am until 3pm. Volunteers can be there anytime between those times – all welcome. Please wear sturdy shoes, long trousers and long sleeves to protect you, also bring gardening gloves.
Only work as much as you are comfortable doing, take breaks and leave early if you need to. Sun hat and cream advisable along with water and other refreshments.
