Meet at Ynys Newydd car park at 9.45 for a 10 a.m. start (SA2 8DU, the last turning on the left before you reach the Recycling Centre)

We invite you to join us in the Big Garden Bird Watch which the RSPB runs every year. Dress warm with sturdy footwear, maybe bring a hot drink. Bring binoculars if you have them, but no dogs please. We expect to finish around noon but just stay as long as you like.

We intend to cover two locations; firstly by the football field where we are clearing brambles ready to develop a meadow and secondly in Kate’s Orchard where we have been working to enhance the habitat. The Scouts’ nest boxes have been put in these areas, so it will be interesting to see if bird sightings increase in coming years.
