A Celebration of CVCP

Today’s event was to celebrate CVCP’s achievement of many of our aspirations: new signage, three new bridges over the river, stepping stones to replace a fallen bridge, restoration of heritage features, research of the local history and people of the valley and also understanding and enhancement of the biodiversity in the valley including the maintenance of Kate’s Orchard and the Jubilee Wood. Thanks to The Council’s AONB Team for helping to make this happen and of course, our volunteers who give willingly of their time to support this.

Many thanks to Councillor Mary Jones who cut our eco-friendly ribbon to mark this occasion. Thanks also to everyone who turned up to support this event.

Within the CVCP committee of ten, we have coordinators for the various interests: Access, Biodiversity, History, Engagement, Communication and others who are involved in a variety of ways. Also, Ursula Jones from the AONB team.

These are just some of the achievements, but there are still more plans for the future. If you would like to get involved please go to the ‘Get Involved’ section on this website.
