We are very grateful to Elaine Clark [Scout leader in Sketty] for bringing the Sketty Explorers and Scouts to trample the overgrown bracken in Kate’s orchard in Clyne Valley on July 10th for us. They were a very willing group of volunteers and did a wonderful job. Thank you for all your hard work.
The work they did was extremely valuable in preventing the bracken from totally shading the diverse ground flora which are a food source for many invertebrates.
